We commissioned brand consultants Acacia Avenue to help us understand the issue of trust: what it means in today’s environment, how important it is and what it means for out-of-home. This was looked at from two angles:
Firstly, understanding how out-of-home is experienced in relation to other touch points and secondly looking at the issue of trust and brands.
Acacia Avenue tasked eight respondents to keep track of four brands via a blog. These brands were actively advertising during the time of the project. In the blog they were asked to log any encounter they had with those brands, where they were at the time of the encounter and what they were doing. After the task they were then interviewed about their blog.
