Twentieth Century Fox launched a campaign to promote its new release, X-Men: First Class, with eye-catching special builds on 1st June. The ads went up around the UK on five 96 sheet billboards with huge 2D cut outs of the X in X-Men protruding from the top and bottom. Strong design and 3D lettering were used to catch the attention of those passing by the sites.
Clear Channel worked closely with Twentieth Century Fox's in-house creative team to design the outdoor ads which ran for two weeks with support from TV, online, press and radio. Media planning and buying was provided by Vizeum and specialist agency Posterscope.
Todd Huntley, SVP, Europe Theatrical at Twentieth Century Fox said, "Once again, Clear Channel has helped us make excellent use of a strong and very arresting feature in our outdoor creative which we are sure will prove to be extremely eye-catching and dynamic. We are delighted with the results."
