Clear Channel UK and Movember partner to raise awareness of men’s health

JC, Co-founder of Movember, said: “We are humbled to have Clear Channel, who have been such a passionate Mo Crew over the years, generously give Movember their amazing spaces to have some fun with and create awareness for this year’s campaign.”

Clear Channel UK, the outstanding out-of-home media owner, has partnered with global men’s health change agents Movember to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer. From 22 October, Clear Channel UK will support the Movember campaign with advertising space on their Socialite network, comprised of hundreds of high definition digital screens in urban pubs and bars, for a three-stage advertising campaign to encourage both men and women to participate in ‘Movember’.

Men (‘Mo Bros’) grow moustaches throughout the month of November, raising sponsorship in the process. Women (‘Mo Sistas’) act as supporters, spreading the men’s health message and encouraging men to live healthy lifestyles.

This partnership represents the first time Movember has used out-of-home advertising to raise awareness of the cause with Clear Channel UK providing the charity with space on hundreds of Socialite screens throughout the country. Harnessing the flexibility of the network, Movember will reach their key audiences at each stage of the campaign using different creative.
