From IT to sustainability to sales, our teams have been voted the best at what they do in a number of prestigious awards schemes.

Winner - Campaign Media Awards 2010

Clear Channel's Create+Collaboration team was named Outdoor Sales Team of the Year at the Campaign Media Awards in November 2010. The awards are the most prestigious in the media calendar and recognise outstanding teams across media owner and product sector categories.

The Collaboration team, which incorporates the Clear Channel Create team, was set up 16 months ago in the depths of the recession to build long-term relationships with creative, media, specialist, digital and PR agencies, as well as clients and technology partners.

The judges praised Clear Channel for the successful launch of the new division and its championship of the out-of-home medium as a whole through events such as the Clear Channel Creative seminar and exhibiting at the Cannes Lions.

The team also “came up with some of the most innovative outdoor executions of the year” including the world’s first ‘Real 3D campaign’ for Percy Jackson, Beck’s plug and play interactive 6-sheets, ambient sound posters for the RNID and the Cromwell Road special for Avatar which was described by director James Cameron as the most impressive outdoor build he had seen.

Business Superbrands 2011

Clear Channel was revealed as one of the UK’s leading business-to-business brands by the Superbrands organisation in March 2011 and March 2010. The announcement followed a robust selection process administered independently by The Centre for Brand Analysis. They analysed the views of a voluntary Expert Council and over 1,700 business professionals. Of the thousands of brands initially considered only the top 500 are deemed to be Business Superbrands.

The Sunday Times - Best Green Companies 2008 - 2011

Clear Channel UK was named as one of the Best Green Companies in the UK for the fourth year in a row by the Sunday Times in 2011. This competition recognises companies, large and small and of varying environmental impacts, which are making a real difference in their environmental performance.

According to The Environmentalist magazine , The Sunday Times Best Green Companies list is “widely seen as the benchmark for sustainability leadership in the UK”.

The Sunday Times listing stated: "The London-based company has introduced a number of initiatives to protect the environment…and staff are convinced by their management's commitment to the green agenda."

Winner - IT Industry Awards 2009

In 2009, Clear Channel UK’s pioneering proof of posting system WAVe (Wireless Activity Verification), was named Private Sector Project of the Year at the UK IT Industry Awards. This highly competitive category included the finalists Procter & Gamble, British Airways and Anglian Water.

David Clarke, Chief Executive Officer of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, said: “This year’s Awards have been exceptional. I was delighted to take part in the judging day and witness firsthand the quality of the winners and medallists. To qualify as a finalist is terrific, to win is an absolutely fantastic achievement, and I offer my heartfelt congratulations to all those took part.
