Our approach to CSR is deeply embedded across all aspects of our business - from charity donations to community support and environmental performance.
We place our Corporate Social Responsibility at the heart of everything we do. We provide valuable infrastructure for local communities, donate millions of pounds worth of advertising space to our preferred charities and constantly strive to improve the sustainability of our business.
Through our product development and work with more than 300 local authorities we are constantly striving to improve the infrastructure within local communities. We ensure that all of our street furniture products combine clean, modern design with the bespoke, practical needs of each local authority. New initiatives in development embrace technologies such as CCTV, solar power, real-time information, way-finding solutions and safe-haven paving.
Our long-term commitment to minimising our environmental impact has led to us being named one of the UK's Top 50 Green Companies by The Sunday Times for the last three years. According to The Environmentalist, the list is “widely seen as the benchmark for sustainability leadership in the UK." We have also won awards for our Fleet Management and been shortlisted for the Green Business Awards for the last three years.
“Outdoor advertising company Clear Channel likes to make sure that when you get the message it is green."

We focus on:
We have an Environmental Sustainability Policy and set annual targets to reduce our environmental impact on our planet. Driven by our Environmental Steering Committee, which has representatives from across the business, we are also implementing new Employee Engagement schemes and recruiting Green Champions to encourage all staff to interact with our carbon reduction strategies.
In 2010, Clear Channel donated more than £5m media space to charity as well as donations through staff fundraising initiatives ranging from sponsored walks, bike rides and ultra-marathons to bakedays and quiz nights. The charities we supported included: Break Through Breast Cancer; BAAF (British Association for Adoption and Fostering); KidsCo; The Prince's Trust; World Wildlife Fund; Thames Reach; Breast Cancer Care and The Mental Health Foundation.
We also have media partnerships with organisations such as The Saatchi Gallery, The London Transport Museum, The National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Academy and Somerset House.
