Entries are open to any organisation, in any sector, or any size (excluding the “SME Award”), which ran an outdoor campaign in the UK in 2018.

Eligible campaigns will have run between 1st January 2018 and 31st December 2018 only (except the “Brand Fame Award”), and can be either a traditional or digital campaign.

The Grand Prix winner will receive £100,000 worth of media space to use across Clear Channel UK screens.

The Multiple Format Award

This category is open to campaigns which have strategically used at least two different OOH formats in different environments.

The entry needs to clearly demonstrate why particular formats have been used, and the thought behind the placement.

The Brand Fame Award

This category celebrates campaigns that have successfully built Brand Fame through effective and prolonged use of OOH.

Campaigns entered into this category will have run for a minimum of 6 months (with no maximum), and must have been live in 2018.

The Innovation Award

This category celebrates OOH campaigns and /or new technology which has inspired audiences by pushing the boundaries of what is possible in OOH with their original and unique execution.

This can include, but is not limited to, innovative uses of technology to deliver a creative idea, special builds and interactivity.

The Creativity Award

This category looks closely at the creative idea that drove the campaign execution and it’s creative execution..

The winner will have used OOH formats and environments to the best of their ability, to deliver a truly brilliant creative idea to the right audience at the right time.

The Data and Insight Award

This award is open to campaigns where original and innovative audience-focused data and / or insight has been pro-actively used to deliver a successful OOH campaign.

Original and innovative audience-focused data and / or insight will have been used in the campaign’s planning and execution, and as a core part of the campaign.

The Social Impact Award *NEW*

This category is open to individuals and media owners working in OOH, who are driving positive change to the environment and / or communities in the UK.

It’s also open to specialists, agencies and brands using outdoor as part of a campaign put in place to amplify positive social impact projects.

The SME Award

This category is open to campaigns from Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises who have used OOH most effectively.

These enterprises must have a turnover of less than £25m per annum and fewer than 250 employees.

The Rising Star Award

This category recognises those that have shown incredible enthusiasm and involvement in OOH advertising, whilst inspiring others around them to use OOH to its full potential. 

This individual will be a media owner, media agency or specialist employee that has joined the world of OOH within the last 5 years. Individuals can self-nominate.

The People's Favourite

The winning entries from the previous categories will be put to the vote of 1,500+ members of the public. This excludes The Rising Star Award

The Grand Prix

This is the best of the best of our category winners, according to our judges, and the selected campaign will be awarded £100,000 worth of media space.
