02  Having a real impact

A Carbon Net Zero future

We are committed to be Carbon Net Zero by 2030 across Scope 1 and 2 emissions and by 2045 across Scope 3.

Every team and function at Clear Channel plays an active role in our advancing journey towards Carbon Net Zero.

As a responsible media and infrastructure business, sustainability is embedded into how we operate and we are supporting our industry, advertiser, municipality and business partners reach their environmental targets.

As part of our progress towards a Carbon Net Zero future, we are employing measures and investing in technologies that reduce our energy consumption.

03  Energy use

Reducing our electricity consumption

We have been making our infrastructure more energy efficient for years and are setting increasingly ambitious targets, continuing to build on previous energy efficiencies.

We have for example replaced fluorescent lighting with bespoke LED alternatives, reduced digital advertising display hours and are introducing solar lighting on bus shelters as well as installing 50% more energy efficient digital displays.

Championing Green Innovation

We have focused on reducing carbon footprint and other environmental impacts across our operations, estate and premises while pioneering other environmental initiatives.

04  Low & zero emission fleet

Driving sustainability

We operate in urban environments, so we prioritise having the cleanest vehicles to improve the quality of life for residents in the communities we serve.

As a result, we're replacing company vehicles with electric or hybrid models only. With 80% of our van fleet being already hybrid or electric, we’re going full speed ahead to complete electrification by 2030.

05  Collaboration

Working with our partners

Beyond our operations and estate, we have been supporting environmental initiatives in the communities in which we operate, investing in eco projects that make a difference, volunteering to improve the environment and supporting the vital work of our charity partners.
