Wakefield Council, also known as Wakefield Metropolitan District Council is the local authority of the City of Wakefield in West Yorkshire, England.  

Client objectives

Wakefield Council wanted to increase awareness of local fostering opportunities in the Wakefield area and to communicate directly with potential foster parents. 

The campaign

Through Adshel Live, Billboards and the sheer physical presence of Out of Home, Wakefield Council were able to engage with huge numbers of people walking or driving within the local community. 

Not only did this fantastic fostering campaign reach significant audience numbers but the creatives were executed brilliantly, displaying warm, loving colours, a group of children in the shape of a heart and a powerful message - all enabling the campaign message to emotionally connect with viewers. 

The results

Wakefield Council's fostering campaign reached many people in the local community and helped strengthen awareness for such an important, life-changing cause.
